National Congress on Mulla Sadra in Tehran
In the Islamic Republic of Iran, the 22nd of
May is officially called Mulla Sadra’s Commemoration
Day. Every year on this day, Sadra Islamic Philosophy
Institute holds a congress with the aim of introducing
this well-known Iranian philosopher to Iranians more
than ever before.
Every congress deals with one of the dimensions of this
prominent Iranian Philosopher's thoughts. This year, the
9th Congress on Commemorating Mulla Sadra was
held on “Politics and Political Philosophy in the
Transcendent Philosophy”.
In this one-day congress, which was attended by a vast
number of thinkers, masters, researchers, and lovers of
wisdom, the various aspects of political philosophy in
Mulla Sadra’s ideas and thoughts were analyzed,
discussed, and explored.
