Presence of the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute and the Scientific Society of History of Philosophy in Press Exhibition

The Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute and Scientific Society of History of Philosophy participated in the 18^th International Press Exhibition with two research- scientific journals of Kheradname-ye Sadra and History of Philosophy. The International Press and News Agencies Exhibition was opened at 1100 on Tuesday, 25^th October, 2011 with presence of Seyyed Muhammed Husseini, Islamic Culture and Guidance Minister, and Muhammed J’afar Muhammedzadeh, Vice President of Press Affairs, in Imam Khomeini Mosque. Muhammedzadeh and a group of cultural authorities and press people opened the Conference by providing some related information.

It is necessary to mention that in the 18^th Exhibition, the number of stands and the participating press and news agencies was bout 600, which was three times more than the previous year.

The Publication Center of the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute had an active presence at this Exhibition with two invaluable journals. The first was Kheradname-ye Sadra in the field of Islamic Philosophy with Professor Seyyed Mohammed Khamenei as its Grantee and Editor-in-chief. The Second was the Quarterly of History of Philosophy with Hussein Kalbasi as its Editor-in-chief and Scientific Society of History of Philosophy as its Grantee. It is worth mentioning that the Philosophy for Children Department of the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute also participated in this Exhibition with the Journal of Philosophy for Children.

The stand of the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute, numbered 86, hosted interested people between 9.00 am and 20.00 pm from 25^th to 31^st October during the Exhibition.

All the journals and periodicals of the Institute were sold at special prices in this event.
