Publication of the 36th Issue of the Quarterly of
History of Philosophy
06.10.2019
The 36th issue of the Quarterly of
History of Philosophy has been published by the Sadra
Islamic Philosophy Research Institute. The Director of
this Journal is Ayatullah Professor Seyyed Mohammed
Khamenei; its license-holder is the Scientific Society
of History of Philosophy, and its editor-in-chief is
Hossein Kalbasi.
The Editor-in-Chief of the
Quarterly writes in the Introduction to this issue as
follows: “The category of culture is not an accidental,
sudden, and untimely category so that one can transport
it to different places like a commodity. Rather, it is
developed gradually and, similar to other living things,
goes through embryonic, infancy, childhood, young
adolescence, youth, adolescence, and old age stages one
after the other. However, death and non-existence do not
happen to it easily. That is why culture is considered
to be the same as the soul and spirit of nations, and no
nation can be hopeful about its survival in the absence
of culture.”
