Publication of a New Issue of the Scientific-Research Quarterly of History of Philosophy
16.01.2019
Issue 33 of the Quarterly of
History of Philosophy was published. The managing
director of this Journal is Ayatullah Professor Seyyed
Muhammed Khamenei; its license-holder is the Scientific
Society of History of Philosophy, and its
editor-in-chief is Hossein Kalbasi. This Journal is
published by the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Research
Institute.
The Editor-in-chief’s Note for
this issue reads as follows: “The views of
Orientologists during the last four or, at least, two
centuries have been influenced by a number of
presuppositions which prevent their understanding of the
truth of Oriental and Iranian culture. Presently,
experts in the field of Orientology, including Iranology,
while attaining a profound awareness of the principles
and purposes of classical Orientology, should aim at
establishing a discipline in conformity with the spirit
of the East and Eastern culture.”
