Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim, Vol. 8 (Chapters as-Sajda and al-Hadid) , Arabic (2011)

The last volume of the 8-volume Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Karim by Mulla Sadra is devoted to the interpretation of al-Waqi'ah, al-Jum'ah, at-Tariq, al-A'ala and az-Zalzala Chapters. This prominent interpreter has interpreted these chapters with the same eloquence, cohesion, and great taste that he has used in creating his other works on interpretation. In his Introduction to the interpretation of al-A'ala chapter, he writes that the content presented here consists of some heavenly emanation that he has received from the supreme Kingdom.

After providing a short preview, Mulla Sadra has divided his interpretation of the holy chapter of al-A'ala into 7 tasbihs. In each tasbih, he has explained one of the supreme features of Almighty God in conformity with the verses of this chapter. The contents of these tasbihs are as follows:

Tasbih 1: Reasoning on the holiness and immateriality of God's essences in relation to the creation of animals.

Tasbih 2: Reasoning on the grace, wisdom, and purity of God's essence in relation to the being of vegetables.

Tasbih 3: Reasoning on the magnificence of God's Essence and the purity of His Attributes from possible defects because of the appointment of prophets.

Tasbih 4: Reasoning to people's diversity regarding their happiness and wretchedness in terms of scientific perfection.

Tasbih 5: Reasoning to people's diversity in terms of practical happiness and misery in the Hereafter.

Tasbih 6: Explaining resurrection and people's diversity in terms of their efforts in attaining pleasure.

Tasbih 7: Summing up the teachings of this chapter and referring to their unity in all religions.
