A Collection of Philosophical Treatises, Vol. 3 (Iksir al-'arifin fi m'arifat tariq al-haq wal yaqin, al-Waridat al-qalbiyyah fi m'arifat al-rububiyyah)

The book A Collection of Philosophical Treatises (vol. 3) includes two of Mulla Sadra's other treatises (Iksir al-'arifin and al-Waridat al-qalbiyyah) which has been published in Arabic along with an Introduction and its translation in Persian.

1. Iksir al-'arifin fi m'arifat tariq al-haq wal yaqin

This treatise has been edited and translated into Persian by Seyyed Yahya Yathribi. From among the issues discussed in this treatise, we can refer to knowledge and its divisions as well as the soul as the receiver of different types of knowledge. Before beginning the treatise, the editor has evaluated the Transcendent Philosophy in detail and compared Ibn Sina and Mulla Sadra in terms of their views in eschatology and then examined and criticized the treatise itself in an extensive Introduction.

2. al-Waridat al-qalbiyyah fi m'arifat al-rububiyyah

This treatise has been edited and translated by Ahmad Shafi'iha. At the beginning of this work, Mulla Sadra writes, "You, the seeker of eternal happiness and lover of attaining the spiritual immaterial forms, I will now share with you some of the intuitions descended to my heart and a drop of what I have drunk from the source of emanation."

At the end of each treatise, a complete index of the names of verses, hadiths, books, people, groups, and technical words has been provided in order to facilitate further research.

The third volume of A Collection of Philosophical Treatises has been published by the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute in 434 pages under the supervision of Professor Seyyed Mohammed Khamenei.
