On the threshold of World Philosophy Day, the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute held a Conference honoring its 20th anniversary. In this Conference, which was held on 30 October 2013 in Talash Cultural Complex, some of the professors and researchers cooperating with the Institute and a great number of its official staff members participated. The Conference inaugurated with a speech delivered by Ayatullah Seyyed Muhammed Khamenei, President of the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute. The next speakers were Dr. Reza Davari Ardakani, member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute and President of Academy of Sciences of Iran; Dr. Seyyed Mustafa Muhaqqiq Damad, member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute and law professor at Shahid Beheshti University; Dr. Gholamhossein Ibrahimi Dinani, member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute and philosophy professor at Tehran University, and Dr. Hossein Kalbasi, member of the Scientific Council of the Institute and philosophy professor at ‘Allamah Tabataba’i University, respectively. In the closing ceremony of this Conference, the Institute honored and appreciated the contributions of its founders and some of the professors working there by giving them some gifts and beautifully framed appreciation letters.
