The Sixth Meeting of the Philosophy and Children Group

According to the Public Relations Office of the Philosophy and Children Group, the sixth meeting of this group was held in the form of a preliminary instructional workshop on the theme of “A Study of the Efficiency and Usefulness of Native Stories in the Philosophy and Children Program”. In this meeting, Dr. Zeynab Barkhordari from Tehran University introduced the foundations of the Philosophy and Children Program as an introduction for future workshops. Moreover, through explaining the difference between “Lipman’s Philosophy for Children” and the Iranian “Philosophy and Children” programs, she discussed the useful and efficient elements of philosophical stories in educational settings and introduced some influential philosophical books in this field. As announced by the Public Relations Office of the Philosophy and Children Group, this instructional workshop will continue in the next meeting.
