The 16th Conference on Commemorating Mulla Sadra was held by the Sadra Islamic Philosophy and Research Institute on 21st May 2012 in Niayesh Complex of International Conferences. The Conference was opened with the speech of Professor Seyyed Muhammed Khamenei, President of the Sadra Islamic Philosophy and Research Institute, titled “The Prospect of the Mutual Relationship between Man and the World.” Then Dr. Reza Dawari Ardakani, President of the Culture House for Sciences, delivered a speech on the problem of “Man in the History of Philosophy”. The other speakers of the morning sessions included Dr. Mustafa Muhaqqiq Damad, Dr. Hamid Reza Ayatullahi, Dr. Qasim Purhassan, Dr. Hassan Bulkhari, Dr. Suleyman Hishmat, and Dr. Aynullah Khademi. In the afternoon sessions, Dr. Karim Mujtahidi, Dr. Maqsud Muhammedi, and some other professors delivered their speeches in relation to the central theme of “Man and the World” and evaluated and analyzed this problem from various angles. The 16th Conference on Commemorating Mulla Sadra was closed with the speech of Dr. Gholamhossein Ebrahimi Dinani titled “The Trans-substantial Motion, the Basis of Integrity of Being”.
