Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim, Vol. 7 (al-Waqiah, al-Jumah, and at-Tariq Chapters) , Arabic (2011)
The 7th volume of the 8-volume collection of Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Karim by Mulla Sadra is devoted to the interpretation of Chapter Ya-seen. This noble chapter, which is the 36th chapter of the Holy Qur'an swears to the Qur'an that the Holy Prophet (s) has been sent by God, is on the right path, and truly warns people to fear God.
In the interpretation of this chapter, Mulla Sadra has adopted the same method that he has followed in the interpretation of other Qur'anic chapters and verses. When explaining the verses, he keeps the discussion of the linguistic aspects of each verse, such as semantic and syntactic features, to a minimum and mainly focuses on explaining its gnotic and educational aspects and referring to some relevant theological and philosophical discussions.
This interpretation is extremely rich in terms of referring to various verses. Although the writer of this interpretation is the most supreme Shi'ite philosopher of recent years, the spirit of gnosis and practical wisdom dominates his interpretation.
A complete collection of the indexes of the hadiths, Arabic and Persian poems, names of people and places, and technical terms mentioned in the book has been provided at the end of this book in order to facilitate further research for interested readers.
The 7th volume of Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Karim has been published under the supervision of Professor Seyyed Mohammed Khamenei in 662 pages in Arabic by the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Publication Center. The required edition and research for this work has been done by Seyyed Sadr al-Din Tahiri. He has also written an Introduction to it.
