Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim, Vol. 4 (Interpretation of Chapter al-Baqarah, vol .3), Arabic (2001)
One of the most valuable books of Mulla Sadra is the interpretation he has written on the divine speech compiled in an eight-volume collection. The forth volume of this precious collection is devoted to verses 38-65 of chapter al-Baqarah.
When interpreting verse 45 (Nay, seek (Allah's) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit,-), Mulla Sadra discusses the meaning of transmigration and its reasons and then analyzes and explains the intentions of the verse. Moreover, when dealing with verse 48 (Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped (from outside).), he discusses the meaning and secrets of intercession in detail.
