Mulla Sadra, Gnosis, and Mysticism

One of the epistemological sources that Mulla Sadra has greatly benefited from in explaining his philosophical system is the field of Islamic gnosis. He has frequently stipulated in his books that these philosophical realities have flooded in his mind after ascetic practice. Therefore, paying attention to the category of gnosis and mysticism greatly contributes to understanding Mulla Sadra's thoughts.

Mulla Sadra, gnosis, and mysticism is the title of the 6th volume of the collection of the selected papers of the Second World Congress on Mulla Sadra. It includes several papers on different philosophical and gnostic subjects written by the distinguished researchers of this field. The subjects include the science of theoretical gnosis, elements of kindness and love in Islamic gnosis, paradox of mysticism before the students and teachers of Mulla Sadra, Mulla Sadra and the pathology of gnosis and mysticism, etc.

The 6th volume of the collection of the papers presented at the Second World Congress on Mulla Sadra includes 26 papers. Seven of the papers have been translated from English into Persian, and the rest are originally in Persian.
